Our small family business strives create pure, sustainable, hand-poured, small-batch, artisan candles & home goods. We began this journey on the heels of a relentless search for a pure beeswax candle with a cotton wick - at an affordable price! Last year, we decided we wanted to try our hand at creating a carefully sourced candle we could trust - with full transparency into our process! After many trials (beeswax is tricky!) we finally have a product we (and the bees!) can be proud of & we think you will LOVE it! We craft our handmade candles in our home studio with our kids in-tow! We melt small batches of our Indiana beeswax - sourced from a small apiary 1.5 hours from our studio. It is a lovely waiting game with the smell of sweet beeswax filing the air! Once the golden wax melts into a thick syrup-like consistency, we slowly pour our wax into our hand-wicked & molds. Please note, we DO NOT use silicone spray or any kind of mould-release chemical (this is common component used with many pillar candles. We believe every ingredient must be safe & indeed healthy to make it into our product - into your home. Our products are, simply put, healthy for you, the environment, & the future. Our artisan candles are hand-poured in small batches. They vary ever so slightly in color, height, & texture. This can be contributed to the variations in expansion & shrinkage of the wax, what the bees are feasting on at the time of harvest, & simply the nature of a handmade product. We love the variations we see in our candles as the represent honest, hard work, done by hand. We hope you love our candles as much as we do!
