Dimensions: 13 tall 6 diameter It starts off with 1kg of clay for both the top & bottom of the lamp. Thrown on the potters wheel they are left to dry overnight & trimmed, smoothed & fitted together the next day. It's during this process that the fit is adjusted & the correct diameter holes are drilled for the light socket & integrated switch. As they slowly dry in the studio they are shuffled around so they can dry evenly. After a couple of weeks they are loaded into the kiln & fired to 2160 degrees fahrenheit. The lamps are then removed & bottoms sanded smoothed. Each piece is handmade & thus there may be small differences piece to piece. All lights are wired with UL certified sockets & switches.
