Birthing Terraphim - Copper Wash

This ceramic goddess embodies a celebration of the blood mysteries of woman. Designed to adorn an alter, she looks great in the garden too. A beautiful gift for a woman journeying through pregnancy & birth, or any woman who is birthing a deeper aspect of her own self, or bravely birthing an endeavour in the world. The imagery & aspects of the design have been inspired by ancient artifacts found throughout the ancient world that celebrated the Great Mother aspect of creation. The Terraphim is slip cast in Terra cotta & hand finished. Her dimensions are approximately 13 cm wide x 17 cm high x 5 cm deep. Although these pieces are made in a mold, each one is hand finished. Due to the nature of this process (and the rustic nature of my workshop & kiln) each piece has it's own unique qualities & there may be slight differences in tone & detail from one piece to another. Natural oils from the skin will enrich the surface quality. Due to their home made nature availability is limitted. Goddesses are packaged securely & sent by registered mail through Australia Post. shipping rate only applies where the goddess is shipped with another goddess, or item of similar weight.
