Handwoven authentic black African Mudcloth Size: 84 x 60 EXTRA LARGE Perfect for a queen sized bed. You can also use it for a king sized bed as a throw at the foot of the bed. Thick handwoven fabric with traditional tribal pattern. Mudcloths are perfect to be used as a bed cover, blanket, tablecloth, throw, tapestry, beach/picnic blanket or to be turned into pillowcases or used to upholster furniture. African artisans hand-dye symbols into these fabrics in order to tell stories of their villages & African proverbs. Mudcloths are individually hand spun, handwoven & hand painted in Mali. Each piece is different & no two are exactly alike. Please note that authentic mudcloths are several panels stitched together, have a raw edge & may need to be reinforced if they are to be used for projects.
