Needlepoint Cushion Handmade Victorian With An Antique Tapestry Fox Gloves & French Crochet Trim

A beautiful new, handmade cushion featuring a Victorian needlepoint panel. The beautifully executed tapestry front features a lively bouquet of foxgloves in beautiful jewel tones: tangerine, magenta & plum with olive green leaves & teal stems. I am unsure of the age of this piece but would estimate that it was created within the last 40 years. The stitching is flawless, colours are bright & it shows no wear. I have added a SILK velvet backing in bright old gold & antique hand Crocheted french grape leaves, one on each corner as a beautiful unique detail. The cushion contains a brand new down feather insert. The insert is slightly oversized for a plump, well shaped 'elegant' cushion. Measures: 15 x 15 As many of my items are made using antique, vintage & repurposed materials they may show some signs of their former lives.
