My tea pets are made of polymer clay & painted with non-toxic acrylic paints, & left matte without my staple glossy sealer. To make these capybaras absorbent, like natural non0glazed clay, I chose to use stone. Picture Jasper is a healing stone that is also absorbent, & will soak up the coolness of the water & the fragrance of the tea.
