Some of my random patchwork quilts feature the soft, sensual pastels of the color wheel. These quilts go by many names: Cooler Neutrals, Soft Pastels, Spring Pastels, Beach Pastels. The PICNIC-size version is 81 X 81 & is quite a large quilt. It fits nicely on a double-size bed & serves as a cover quilt for a king-size. Each quilt is unique & one of a kind. The photos show an array of quilts already purchased. Yours will be similar & yet will be unlike any other. The charm of these quilts is the almost accidental nature of the way the patterns & colors of the fabrics fall in place together. As with all my random patchwork quilts, the Cooler Neutral/Spring Pastels are made from scraps of old aprons & shirts, linens & fabric stashes mixed with some newer prints that have a retro & vintage vibe. All fabrics are 100% cotton, sewing with 100% thread. Warm & Natural cotton batting completes this work of comfort. 81 X 81 Machine wash on gentle cycle; air dry.
