Made from re-purposed firefighter turnout / bunker gear, your firefighter will be proud to have his or her photo displayed in this unique frame. Each wooden frame is covered by hand with retired bunker gear & then decorated with a patch & reflective striping to make an eye catching addition to the wall of your home or office. Many patches are available - please ask if you want a specific one. These materials have protected emergency workers across America while they saved lives & property, & now you can honor their heroism & bravery by owning these unique pieces yourself. No two frames are the same, & each carries its own history along with it. These frames measure 9w x 7-1/2h, & hold a 4x 6 horizontal photo. If you would like to use your own department patch or a different one than shown, please convo me & I will be happy to work with you on the changes. Because these are custom made at the time of order, I can also make them without a patch, or even add a name or department (for a small additional fee) if you prefer it. However, there may be small areas that show each piece's history of previous use, which is what gives each item its own personality. After cleaning, turnouts are dismantled seam by seam, then measured & cut for each pattern, with all work done by hand. I design & sew each piece myself.
