100% Pure beeswax candle with a cotton wick. There are no additives & the candles are made from cappings removed from the frames at the time of honey extraction . You can see the hives behind the candle in the first picture. The wax ranges from light to a darker yellow depending on the wax. I do not use dye or coloring in my candles. I pour each of these candle into a mold which when released produces these beautiful candle. They make a great gift when go to someones house & are always appreciatied. The candles are naturally scented as a beeswax candle & I choose not to add any other fragrance as the smell of fresh beeswax is unbeatable . It is also very healthy. A beeswax candle emits negative ions to purify, cleanse, improve air quality, & invigorate the body. A natural ionizer! Hypo-allergenic, & benefit those with environmental allergies, sensitivities, & asthma. The candle above averages about 7.5 oz & measures 3.5'' x 2.5 ''. The Average burn time for this candle is 40 hours. Please be sure to trim your wick to 1/4 inch before lighting & use the diameter of the candle as a guide for burning. For each inch of diameter of the candle, burn for one hour. For example, a three inch in diameter candle should be burned for three hours. This will prevent your candle from tunneling. Gently push in the sides as the candle burns down. Do not blow out your candle, but use a snuffer or heat proof instrument to push the wick into the wax to snuff it out. Remember then to push the wick back into an upright position afterwards. Never burn your candle in a drafty area. Always burn your candle on a heat proof surface. Pure Beeswax Candle.
