Angels & divine messengers are prevalent in almost all near eastern religions & belief systems including the Abrahamic religions, Judaism, Christianity, Islam along with Zoroastrianism, Bah', Sikhism, Hermetic Qabalah & Theosophy. There are also equivalent divine beings found in far eastern religions as well, along with shamanistic paths. They are great symbols of the connection between the divine & humans. This design is covered with messages from many great masters & teachers from different spiritual paths. Some of the messages are easy to read, some can be read with a bit more difficulty, while others are completely encoded in a esoteric language. The partial encoding & obscuring of the messages was done to conceptually tie to the idea of divine inspiration often being difficult to understand fully. Allow this piece to serve as a reminder of the divine watching over & guiding you on your life's journey; every interaction you have with others can be viewed as a chance to communicate to the divine that is within everyone. It is made to order with my laser cutter using plywood which is then stained & glued together. Every piece will vary slightly in color due to the use of natural materials.
