Carved Eye Chart

This eye chart is truly one of a kind. Jared painstakingly hand drew all of the letters himself, rather than following a set font or template. He then hand-carved the eye chart using traditional methods & tools. This carving is in three sycamore panels attached by oak straps on the reverse side. The sycamore for the panels came from a tree that was downed in a storm on the grounds of the historic Winchester Cathedral in Hampshire, England. (This is the cathedral where Jane Austen is buried.)
