Ceramic lamp, handmade, graffitied & painted by hand in the orange-ferraccia color, equipped with two lampshades & two faces, one Christmas & the other for all periods of the year. Total height of the lamp with lampshade 55 cm Dove-gray wooden lampshade Dm. cm.25 Shade in butter color schantung Dm.cm. 30 The lamp on one side has the subject of the nativity, point & stick graffiti & reveals the color of the clay. The opposite side has a woven ribbon decoration, pointed graffiti & splint. The lampshade with angel is in a beautiful hand-made briar-effect wooden sheet, the holes made by hand highlight a Guardian Angel intent on praying & the constellations of Ursa Minor & Major. The other lampshade is in industrial shantung. The wire is located on the side to allow you to turn the lamp at will. The technique for making this object is very elaborate & requires several steps. The raw clay object is engobed, drawn, then engraved with a point & dug in a stick: this allows to reveal the natural color of the earth. At this point it is cooked for the first time at 950 degrees. It is painted with powder colors diluted with water & then baked with a crystalline coating at a temperature of 1200 degrees.
