I used 4 balls of I Love This Yarn (White) from Hobby Lobby which is an Acrylic Yarn (washable & dryable on gentle settings) & a size 4.0 (g) hook to make the sample. Finished measurements are approximately 32 x 40. As the baby gets older he or she will love touching & soothing themselves with the popcorn stitches & will most likely carry it around with them for years to come. If you are a beginner, this pattern will be fine for you, as long as you keep track of the rows. Left handed crocheters can use the pattern as written for perfect results. This pattern is written in American terms, there are lots of pictures & even a chart to guide you.
