Here is a fireclay sculpture of a tuba player. Inside an apartment he can function as a holder of various items. Fireclay becomes waterproof after firing, so his tuba can hold water & he can be turned into a bird drinker in the garden. As well as a bird feeder. The sculpture measures 27 cm x 20 cm x 18 cm / 11 x 7.9 x 7.1 & weighs 3.1 kg / 6.8 lb It was colored with metal oxides & fired at oC 1050 in an electric kiln. No molds were used, it is a one-of-a-kind piece. The piece in the pictures is already sold. When ordered, a brand new one, very much like this will be made in about ten days.
