This statue of Slavic godesses MORANA & ZHIVA are handcrafted from linden wood & covered with linseed oil & wax. Some elements of the thread are covered with gold acrylic paint. Height: 25 centimeters (9.8 inches) Life & Death are the same. Death is the part of Life. ZHIVA is a Slavic goddess of life, fertility, birth & spring. Zhiva is the daughter of the goddess Lada. According to another version, it was created at the same time as Svarog, as the female hypostasis of God Rod. Zhiva is the patroness of young girls & young wives. MORANA is a part of a continuous cycle of life & death. She comes from nowhere & she's not going anywhere, she has been present since the begining of time, & will be here as long as it exists, inextricably bonded to Svarog, as an antipode to the one who creates life... life that she would, when the time comes, take to the realm of the dead, world our ancestors - to Nav.
