Messing About in Boats Mole&ratty From The Wind Willows Stories - Sold By Commission

In 1908 Kenneth Grahame wrote the ostensibly children's story called The Wind in The Willows. It has become a much loved English classic. It is a story about the every day happenings of several animal friends, among them, Ratty, Mole, Badger & Toad. They live on & around a beautiful river that flows through meadows & woods. They experience numerous adventures & in the course of them, learn (as does the reader) about life & friendship. It has of course become not just a children's book, but one with lessons for parents as well, & a beloved classic worldwide. Two of the friends, Ratty & Mole, love rowing about the river in Ratty's small boat. in fact Ratty announces to Mole there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. This is the theme of my new project. You will find Ratty, Mole & Otter at river's edge with the beloved boat. Behind them will be the river's bank, meadows stretching beyond & of course willow trees. Below them will be the river bottom with pebbles, rocks & plants poking up through the water. This project is static. While I tried mightily, I was unable to achieve the characteristic rocking motion which is my hallmark. This project was very challenging & took some time to accomplish.
