Available is this awesome heavy aluminum wire sculpted WWII Airplane. It is done to the exact likeness of a WWII British Spitfire airplane. Powered by a 12 cylinder Alis-Chalmers engine recognizable by the distinctly shaped wings & 12 exhaust ports protruding from the engine housing. It is constructed completely of aluminum 5/16 & 1/8 inch weld wire with many finely welded details. Small details are not easy to make when working & welding with aluminum weld wire only. Details include a 5 blade propeller, guns on the wings, three different air intakes underneath the belly as well as the engine exhaust pipes. It has been mounted on highly polished aluminum diamond plate. Plane was made to scale size. Artist signed & dated. Completely handmade work of art sculpture with hours of fabrication. It is built solidly & sturdy. It can take light accidental abuse, however it still can be bent or damaged if handled too roughly or dropped hard.
