The piece is then painted with an metallic gold paint to give it a distressed look . The decoration is double sealed (front & back) with a non-toxic paper sealer that acts like a glue , sealer & finish. The sealer makes the decoration very strong ,protects it ( will not fade or gather oils from the air)and gives it a shiny ,glossy look. To hang the artwork you'll need just a little nail.
