This elegant barn owl launches from a fence post, swooping down onto his prey as the old farm house sits quietly in the background. I am a sculptor based in the South Downs & have created a series of relief sculptures inspired by the beautiful animals that live here. This owl was carefully sculpted in clay & cast in a strong composite stone. The plaque has been hand finished with an exterior decorative wax & is signed by myself. It is completely weatherproof & frostproof so makes a great piece of garden art. There is also a hook in the back to safely hang your plaque. This barn owl wall sculpture would make an excellent gift for a bird enthusiast, a gardener or lover of the outdoors. The plaque is 25cm x 16cm (10 inches x 6.5 inches) & weighs approximately 1kg.
