Our Pillow Covers are handmade from Traditional & contemporary hand-printed Javanese batik fabric. Woodblock wax resist motif/pattern made with a wood & brass hand stamp & wax. We make all our own pillow covers approximately 1 to 2 cm smaller to make the pillows appear full. All inside edges are serged to prevent fraying & for strength & longevity produced & stored in a smoke free & pet free environment ZIPPER. We use only YKK zips for our hidden zipper enclosure. So our pillow covers are designed to house the zipper tag to ensure all metal parts of the zip are hidden to keep children, pets & furniture protected. Concealed zipper for ease of care. Zips are all double stiched CORNERS. The corners of out pillows are a good square 90 degree corner. Not rounded. The same fabric is used both front & back. CUSTOM MADE TO ORDER. Our photographs are taken outside in natural sunlight to get the best representation of each colour. Some colours may appear different to the actual fabric due to monitor resolution, dye lots, lighting & other factors out of our control. IMPERFECTIONS. The very nature of batik is a hand-stamped & handmade quality, these prints are created traditionally by hand, no machines or computers or power is used to create these patterns, so, there may be a little natural batik wax residue on the fabric, this will wash out easily, & some spots of dye or slight gaps in the printing, all totally authentic hand-printed batik characteristics. CARE. Care of pillow covers is simple.Machine wash cold on gentle cycle or hand wash with a mild detergent, air dry. Do not hang to dry in prolonged direct sunlight as this can bleach traditional fabric dye. PROCESSING. These pillows are made to order therefore 3 to 5 business days processing before they are shipped.
