Each Flamingo has a wingspan of almost 8 inches. Suspended on near invisible monofilament line, they move with the slightest breath of air. A wire cross piece or yoke is provided BUT SOME ASSEMBLY is required as each installation will be different. THE BIRDS HAVE TO BE TIED TO THE CROSS WIRE, ONE AT EACH END & ONE FROM THE MIDDLE. It is usually best to hang the yoke as close as possible to the point of attachment so that it does not interfere visually with the birds. About 6 feet of monofilament line is provided for each bird. The pieces are molded in our proprietary compound of resins, Pellucida, which is similar to but actually more durable than Bisque porcelain. It is SIGNED & comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. The angle of inclination of each bird (climbing, diving, tilting left or right) can be adjusted by slightly bending the attachment-wire on its back.
