The Cyanotype Pillow Series started when I used a liquid material that allowed me to imprint an image of plants & flowers on canvas. The photographic process is called a photogram, one of the oldest forms of photography. I placed the plant on the treated fabric, exposed the fabric with sunlight & the shadow cast in the fabric becomes your image... a reversed shadow. These comfortable & durable pillow look great in sets or on a single chair. Great accent in nature loving home, perfect for the couch, bed, or a sectional in a series of multiple styles from this series. Permanent but best not displayed in the direct sunlight for long periods of time due to the process of how the image was created. Completely durable & spot clean when needed.
