Himalayan Vintage Dolpo Wool Textile & Canvas Pillow Cover - Handmade in Nepal

These unique pillow covers are made from handspun, handwoven & hand-dyed vintage textiles from Upper Dolpo, in the Nepal Himalaya. The textiles are hand-sewn into beautiful pillow covers, with either a stripe of colorful textile in the middle (yellow) or a square block of textile in the middle (cream) & backed with canvas in Kathmandu, Nepal. These truly unique large pillow covers are great in sets of 2 or 3, or alone on a couch with various other sized pillows. The pure sheep wool textiles woven by ethnically Tibetan villagers living in the border regions of Nepal. The wool comes from sheep owned by these villagers, & we purchase the textiles directly from them. Each pillow cover is unique, with slight imperfections, & reflects a dying way of life in the Himalaya. 10% of all purchases goes towards The Kamzang Fund - Nomad Fund.
