Filipiniana in Red 4 - Philippines Miniature Doll

I'm from the Philippines & I love making these tiny traditionally-clothed women. It gives me so much fun! The inspiration for their clothes were typical during the time the Philippines was a colony of Spain (around 300+ years). During my school days, we would wear costumes like these for dances or theater productions. Now, I recreate them in my own interpretation using polymer clay. This Filipiniana will arrive in a kraft box (2x2) with twine (brown) ribbon ready to give as a Christmas gift or for any occasion. She is carrying a Philippine rice dish called putobumbong. It's made of glutinous rice & it's usually served early morning around Christmas time, right after Simbang Gabi (mass). Thanks for checking out my work!
