Featuring the same glorious, boldly scaled artichoke heads of J.H. Dearle's 1898 original, this highly ornamental design receives some of the richest colour treatment of any Morris & Co. velvet. Printed at our Grade II listed factory in Lancashire, a darkly dyed backdrop dramatically foregrounds Dearle's virile Artichoke pattern. Ideal for use in upholstery & drapery. Each portiere will be lovingly handcrafted just for you & you won't be disappointed. The velvet is wonderfully soft & really makes a statement. Lined with plain designer plush velvet for a grand feel. The printed velvet on the front & plain velvet on the back makes this a very heavy curtain. Good solid hardware will be needed. Pick your length & width from the drop down menu. If you need a specific size please contact us for a custom listing. Our standard header style is a 3 header tape for use with rings. If you would like a rod pocket instead, let us know your rod diameter before ordering. The width of each single portiere panel will be approx 52 wide. This will fit to / around & between a standard size door & frame of up to 36, giving a traditional arts & crafts loose gather. If you have a wider door / space, or simply like a full gather, then you may want to opt for a larger 102 wide curtain. If you need help determining what size of curtain you need just message us.
