Primordial fish From a beautiful old chestnut forest in castilla, spain. According to the inhabitants, these trees are more than 500 years old & that can be foregone. Very thick trunks & almost all struck by lightning. It's like walking through a fairy forest. This primordial fish was a gift that was under one of these trees. Standing on an oak foot. 154cm high, 110cm, 75cm All the items from my shop are hand crafted. The pieces of wood are, on most planks, found by myself in nature & often already dried & lived by weather & wind. They each have their own story. in my studio I clean the pieces thoroughly & then shed them more & more finely. With some I opted for a finish with natural beeswax to pick up the wood a bit.
