Earth Tones Checkered Throw Quilt

This throw quilt is machine made, hand-embroidered with dark brown thread. The material is cotton, with colors of dark & light brown, bright yellow, & dark green. The simple yet dynamic pattern of blocks with constracting colors makes this quite viberent as well as subtle. The boarder, middle spacer are deep brown that matches the back boarder as well. The centerpice for the back is a light cream floral pattern to match the earthy tones feel of the quilt. This throw quilt measures 52 inches (length) & 48 inches (width); two layers of poly-fill extra loft; making it just a little smaller than the average (or store bought throw). This quilt is also 'tagged' on the back with maker's name. The quilt is proudly made in the U.S.A by a veteran & in a smoke-free home. Backstory: After completing a custom 'wedding guest book quilt' for a customer, I had the brown, yelllow & green left over. I opted to put it good use by making this quilt. The cream back material was taken from my own stash of fabric & used to help tie this quilt together. Even though it is smaller than the average throw, it is the perfect gift for a teenager or adult who would love a simple quilt made with love & pride. Earth Tones Checkered Throw Quilt
