When fitted, the security clip allows the wire or hangers on the picture frame to slide into the hook. The clip then resists removal unless the trick to lift & pull at a certain angle is known. Formed from heavy-gauge steel, the heavy-duty safety hook will take up to 15kg, maybe more, dependant on wall material. Fix with countersunk screws & plugs provided, suitable for normal & solid walls. Each hook comes with the carefully shaped security clip which is fitted during installation. This helps minimise accidental dislodgement & deliberate removal of the frame. The hook works very well with most hangers - Heavy-duty Hangers, CWH Hangers, D-Rings, cord, wire, where the slots allow for frames to be levelled.
