This clear elegant morphing snowflake star suncatcher is a hanging 3D sculpture in stained glass. Handmade by me & from my own original designs, this multifaceted snowflake ornament is part of SNL Creations glass crystal Star, Snowflake, & Sundrop Collections. Made with beveled glass & constructed in a 3-dimensional fashion, the effects of these multifaceted designs are mesmerizing. Free hang them so as to allow a breath of air to twirl them around, showing off their real essence. You'll see them change geometric shapes while white lights & rainbows will dance from off of them... Some people see the snowflake when looking at this suncatcher, others see the daisy-like flower that is created by the pattern of negative spaces within, & some see the star. Regardless of what you see in the shape & form of this piece, it is meant for year round enjoyment! It can be hung inside the home or try it outside in the garden. Wherever you hang it, it is sure to please! - I created this medium size snowflake using cut pieces of clear beveled glass & used Tiffany's method for doing stained glass to make it. Its lines of solder were finished with copper patina. It measures approximately 5.5x5.5x2 (14x14x5cm).
