This wonderful lamp used to be a rather ugly vintage 'classic' style parchment lampshade on a dark brown foot. The kind of lamp that seems to have always existed, regardless of time or trends in design & taste ;-) I stripped the lampframe & handfelted this new lampshade in subtle natural colors, white & warm grey. I also added linen fibres in matching colors to create a beautiful texture. The wool & linen fibers were felted on a natural white silk organza fabric & made to fit the original lampframe without seams. Then I painted the lampfoot in a matching light warm-gray color with ultra matte paint. This makes a beautiful & harmonious combination. This table lamp will brighten up any dark or dull corner in your home, day or night! The light of this lamp is soft & warm & creates a wonderful atmosphere.
