The plaque comes ready to hang with strong natural jute string threaded through pre-made holes & can be displayed on walls, door handles, hooks, pegs, drawer knobs, bedposts, or shelving units. They also look lovely when simply leaned against a shelf, mantelpiece, windowsill, or layered within a gallery display, making them a versatile personalised gift or home dcor accent. If you'd prefer the plaque without the hole(s) or string just message me after placing your order. Each plaque measures approximately 9 x 6cm & is approximately 5mm thick. Material: Each plaque is made from air-dry clay & is carefully rolled, cut, & hand-stamped one letter, number, or symbol at a time. Unlike mass-produced clay or ceramic plaques that use laser engraving or printed text, every one of my pieces is created entirely by hand, giving it a truly handmade feel. Subtle variations in texture, depth, & shape are part of the charm & ensure that every plaque is completely unique. Once fully dried, the plaque is sealed for durability. The stamped lettering can be left natural or carefully hand-painted. The first photo shows the lettering painted black. You can choose from twelve colours from the drop down menu. After painting, the plaque is sealed again to protect the finish. I find that the depth of the hand-stamped letters creates a soft, natural shadow that beautifully defines each character, which is why I personally love leaving the plaques paint-free for that clean minimalist look. About air-dry clay: Air-dry clay is a lightweight yet sturdy material, perfect for decorative wall hangings. Once sealed, it is durable & long-lasting while retaining an organic, handmade feel. Although durable & sturdy your plaque is designed for indoor decorative use. Packaging: Each plaque is carefully wrapped in tissue paper & honeycomb paper, boxed, & placed inside a padded bubble envelope for safe delivery. Care instructions: For indoor use only.
