Bellatrix's first wand, 12 3/4 inches long, English Walnut wood, as described in the book. It is fully hand carved, naturally ebonized to a blackish brown using iron oxide & the natural tannins in the wood, then some parts blackened more with a traditional carbon/soot based Chinese ink , natural linseed oil & wax finish. No gloss. I have tried to make this wand appear old & worn not new & shiny. This wand is MADE TO ORDER. The photo is of the last one that I made.
