Tarantula Crochet Pattern Only Blanket

Pattern for a tarantula blanket. This pattern comes with both a graph & written instructions. You will need 3 skeins of gray, 2 skeins of black & 1 skein of orange to complete this project. It is 110 stitches wide x 121 stitches tall. This pattern can be made with the type of yarn of your choice. I crocheted the example with Red Heart's Soft yarn (which is a medium weight yarn) & used a crochet hook size J (6.00mm). Please note the size of the blanket in the 2nd picture. It is a little small for a blanket on it's own & would need a border or to be made with a blanket yarn to be made larger. It is all single stitch crochet. in order to make this blanket you will need to know how to carry yarn. I highly recommend trying a small simple pattern to practice carrying yarn before attempting a larger project such as this one. Carrying yarn gets more difficult as you add more colors.
