This Ruby Throated Hummingbird is suspended from an orange flower so that it moves with the slightest touch. The bird's wingspan is just over 4 inches & mounted on its polished burlwood base it stands about 7 inches tall. It is airbrushed/hand painted here in the studio. It is molded in Pellucida, our proprietary resin compound that resembles Bisque porcelain but is more durable. PLEASE NOTE: these photos are of samples for illustration.
