Blue Sharks, with their slender bodies, long pectoral fins & large eyes are perhaps the most beautiful of the sharks. Each shark is about 6 inches long. Mounted on a polished burlwood base, the piece stands about 8 inches tall. PLEASE NOTE: these photos are of illustrative samples. Each burl is unique, so the one you will receive will be different but of similar size & equal beauty. The sharks are molded from Pellucida, a resin compound that resembles but is more durable than Bisque porcelain. It is SIGNED & comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. The base is a polished manzanita burl, responsibly harvested only from private lands where needed for fire protection brush clearance.
