Blue Moon - 17.5 x 17.75 I call my work Painted Threads. Each piece combines subtle detail & layered complexity through texture, pattern, & touches of paint or dye. The imagery is built from my own hand-dyed fabrics & many layers of thread. Using a variety of threads & embroidery stitches, I create depth & texture that bring a tactile dimension to each piece.
