Boujaad or boujad moroccan rug is woven at the edge of the Middle Atlas mountains, & made of naturel virgin wool, often decorated with colored materials such as vegetable dye. This rug has an abstract hand pattern in different colors (coral degrees, green, black, orange, ivory, beige, purple, blue...). This moroccan rug is new , handwoven by Naima a berber woman from boujaad region . Soft underfoot & medium to high pile. They are washed. & they have an irregular shape. -Our rugs are already weaved & are the same in the photos. -Size: (160cm x 245cm) (5'2x 8') -Shipped from Morocco with DHL Express. Boujad rugs are a really wonderful piece of 'folk' art that tell a tale of the lives for the women who make them. This moroccan rug is new & handknotted with natural wool & some cotton in the base. Durable carpet thanks to incredible skills of the weaver. in very good conditions. Because the rug is new it may shed & it's completely normal & will stop within a couple of weeks. For cleaning, we recommend a regular vacuum cleaning, we highly recommend dry clean ( we don't recommend steam cleaning, because the hot steam could cause some damages on the wool). From time to time, you can expose the rug to direct sunlight in a sunny day.
