Formally trained as an architect, I am having great fun exploring the texture, color & shape possibilities of the iconic house form. It has the iconic shape we all know, but you might think I've never seen a house like that! I make & finish each piece by hand, so each is unique in form & finish. The White Double Happiness House was made by hand, bisque-fired, then glazed with creamy white matte high-quality French glazes. hand-rubbed for the layered washed effect, & then fired a final time. The somewhat random nature of this glaze always makes for very interesting results. If attaching to your wall, I recommend double-stick foam tape to mount it securely.
