You will need fleece fabric (approximately 1 1/2 yards), sequin fabric (approximately 2/3 yards) as well as ~1 1/3 yards scale stretch fabric (I share where I found my fabric within the pattern) along with sewing notions. Pattern includes three different sizes. (Small (ages 2-4), Medium (ages 5-6) & youth/large (ages 7-12). Waist opening (in all sizes) is ~40 circumference. Length of body (not including fin) is 33 (small), 40 (medium) & 46 (large).
