Here is a beautiful one of a kind box for your jewelry, treasures & keepsakes. It is made of antique wood salvaged from a building built in Minster, Ohio in 1900. The wood was salvaged during a remodel of the former Boecker Meat market, Mel's decorating building. The wood was rough sawn from probably pine. The outside looks rough but has been smoothed enough to remove the problem of splinters. The top looks like a frame with some finished wood showing. The corners of the box are mitered & reinforced with antique square cut nails that were removed from the original boards. in keeping with the rough, rustic look pieces of leather were used to keep the lid up when open. The box is approximately 9 inches long by 5 inches high, by approximately 8 inches front to back. The inside is approximately 7.5 inches by 6 inches by 3 inches deep.
