DOMINIQUE is a piece is inspired by chef Dominique Crenn who says, Memory is very important. It's a vehicle to get to know who you are on the inside. For me DOMINIQUE is crisp fall nights by the warmth of the fire, the colors & sounds of leaves falling off the trees & crunching under my feet & the apple orchards that fed my childhood. The dowel is locally sourced NY state birch wood measuring 16 inches across. Hand-dyed rope is used measuring 40 in length & 8 in width.
