HOW TO INSTALL A WALL DECAL Transform your space in 5 easy steps! 1. Prep Your Wall Clean your wall with a dry lint-free cloth or a slightly damp sponge (use water only, no soap). Allow the wall to dry completely. Note: If you recently painted, wait at least 3 weeks before applying. 2. Plan Your Placement Tape the decal to the wall with painter's tape (without removing the backing) to find the perfect spot. Use a level or a ruler to make sure it's straight. 3. The Hinge Method Tape the top edge of the decal firmly to the wall. Flip the decal up & slowly peel away the white paper backing, starting from the top. The decal should stay stuck to the clear transfer tape. 4. Apply & Smooth Slowly lower the decal back down against the wall. Using a squeegee (or a credit card wrapped in a soft cloth), press firmly from the center outward to remove any air bubbles. 5. Remove the Transfer Tape Wait about 10 minutes for the adhesive to bond. Start at one corner & slowly peel the clear transfer tape back at a sharp angle (flat against the wall). If the decal starts to lift, stop & rub it down again firmly. Troubleshooting Tips: Bubbles? Use a tiny pin to prick the bubble & press the air out. Won't Stick? Use a hairdryer on a low, warm setting for a few seconds to soften the adhesive while pressing it into the wall texture. HOW TO INSTALL A WALL DECAL 1. First, start by making sure your wall is clean & completely dry. Make sure there is no dust or residue from harsh cleaning chemicals. Make sure there is enough space for your decal. 2. Open your tube. You'll have a wall decal inside, a tester decal & a step by step instructions. Apply your tester decal to make sure it sticks to the wall. If it doesn't stick, then you most likely have non-compatible paint, or you're trying to apply to a textured wall, & you'll need to send us back your deal for a refund. If it sticks, then congrats! You're on your way! Unroll your large decal & lay it flat. Flatten it out for a while for easier application. 3. Take your application tool & smooth out the decal, pressing down on the vinyl, front & back. 4. Take your decal & arrange it on the wall, with the backing paper on, & tape it up with painters tape. Use a level & make sure it's level. You can use a pencil & mark off where you'd like it, erasing the lines after you're finished. Use the level against the letters & vinyl, not the paper. 5. Peel the backing layer up, & discard, while holding up the top layer. 6. Lay your top layer down on the wall, pressing in the middle & out, smoothing it with your hands. 7.
