Magnetic Dice Tower 3D Model - Ready For Print

Included are 3 distinct versions of a dice tower I have modeled in a single ZIP folder: Fully Assembled, Fully Assembled with no lines between merged pieces, in individual pieces with hole placements for magnetic assembly. Each version has been saved in SketchUp, DAE, & STL formats. For those printing the magnetic version: You will most likely need a 1/8th drill bit, or preferably a 1/8th pin punch, to finish the holes for slip fit assembly. Magnets may also be pressed (covered with a solid flat surface & hammered) into place to skip this step. I recommend supergluing or epoxying the magnets in place for longevity. The magnets needed can be readily found on eBay & other online stores. The magnet specifications are as follows: 1/8th-inch diameter by 1/8 inch length. They MUST BE super strong rare-earth neodymium magnets for the dice tower to maintain rigidity. For those wishing to make their own towers from hardwood: I have designed a two-piece jig plate that allows for magnet hole placements to be laid out perfectly. Not only does this make the build process INCREDIBLY quick, but produces a factory like alignment that makes the end result something really special.
