Dune Wood Sculpture

This sculpture was created after joining two pieces of wood in Elm, increasingly rare wood in Douglas pine. She was sculpted by emphasizing the contrast of the Woods & their rich veining. We can look at it, display it in every way free everyone to see something, or anything. It was extensively polished, shiny, just a little old wax was applied, take it in hands give her a nice patina. The wood is a living material, cracks may appear, but they won't over questioning her strength. Dune Wood Sculpture
