Its intricate textured design feels almost like paper. Each lamp is designed, 3D printed & assembled by hand at the workshop in Biarritz, France. Cable length: 2 meters With switch Materials: (And why is this item eco-friendly?) -This lamp is made from a plant-based, eco-friendly material, made from corn. Its composition makes it a renewable & biodegradable material. Corn starch is rapidly renewable whereas petroleum is a non-renewable fossil fuel source with well-known environmental consequences. While common plastics take thousands or tens of thousands of years to degrade, PLA is considered biodegradable under high-temperature composting conditions. -We manufacture each piece to order, without unnecessary overstocking. -Our products are manufactured locally in France, from design to finished product. No resources are wasted by outsourcing & production in a distant factory.
