Bear With Fish Wire Sculpture, Driftwood Base

Bear with Salmon Wire Sculpture Made using one strand of 16-gauge steel wire & attached to a unique driftwood base. Sculpting with wire allows me to define form & imply movement, making each piece a dynamic drawing in space. I sculpted this piece with steel wire so that it would oxidize & develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied. I hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world & that my methods are also kind to the environment. I avoid using paints & solvents, & I try to reuse packing/shipping materials.
