The wind through me - wall original artwork by Mara Mariela Dimitrova unusual mixed media wall sculpture - This work was part of an exhibition I did in 2012, called Arrojados al viento. Then he has participated in other exhibitions, mine & mutual, with Boyan, The Steel Style Things ... & also in some collectives. It is made of a wire skeleton, glued with fabrics & papers on it to create the shape of a giant hand fan. The doll face that is in the center is made of papier mache by some artezanas that make theatrical dolls, then it is painted with acrylic. I have also used original lace. Everything is varnished with an acrylic varnish. I tried to take advantage of the rust effect that appears after moistening the wire with glues & paints :) The best thing is that it does not weigh much :) Can be combined with other works of the same series & be the accent of your home!
