This carefully crafted product is resistant to moisture, high & low temperatures, & UV rays. It is also smooth to the touch & durable in use, but prolonged exposure to water & sharp, unsecured objects can damage it. Small holes on the surface are a natural characteristic of the plaster from which it is made. The material is not approved for food contact. I make all my products by hand in my small studio.
