Talistone Celtic Rocky Valley Maze

Our engraved River Stones vary in sizes from size from approximately 1 to 2 inches. We use naturally tumbled, polished stones with colors ranging from whites, browns, tans, dark reddish & brown grays. The stones are sandblasted & the imagery is then painted black. Size, shape, color & will vary with each stone. This carved maze is one of two found in Rocky Valley near Tintagel Castle in Cornwall, England. The origin of the carvings is not settled. Some scholars assert they date as far back as the Bronze Age, since many similarly styled carvings of this era have been found in Galacia (Spain) while others claim that the state of preservation & tools required for the carvings suggest they are Celtic in origin.
