Just made a new small batch, so hurry!! Thank you!! ????This is one of my versions of an olla! An OLLA is a porous clay pot used for irrigation. It is buried in the ground & filled with water so as to supply water to surrounding plants. The process works by soil moisture tension: when the soil is dry, the water is pulled out, when the soil is moist, water stays in the OLLA. ????My ollas are handmade & hand painted. This long & thin teracotta tube olla is perfect for your larger plants due to its long porous base. You won't have to worry so much if you forget to water your plant or if you leave for the weekend, your olla will be there! Plus it is a unique plant pot decoration item & protects you from the evil eye (mati), according to Greek culture. ????How to use: Place olla slowly in the soil of your pot up to the glazed part, fill with water, place lid on top. How many days each olla continues to water your plant depends on the plant, type of pot & moisture of the soil.
